Bringing Monsters to Life Through Print Innovation

Bringing Monsters to Life Through Print Innovation

19 Crimes is a globally recognized wine brand known for its rebellious personality and immersive storytelling. Each year, the brand delivers bold, disruptive seasonal campaigns that push the boundaries of traditional wine packaging.

For Halloween 2025, 19 Crimes sought to elevate its annual limited-edition release featuring Universal Monsters—an iconic entertainment property under Universal Products & Experiences. Their ambition was clear: create a collectible label that didn’t just sit on shelf but performed on it.

To achieve this, they needed a partner capable of delivering technical innovation, visual impact, and flawless consistency across multiple markets worldwide.

The Challenge

The task was to develop a label that glowed, interacted, and engaged—while preserving the premium finish synonymous with the 19 Crimes brand.

Key requirements included:

  • A high-impact glow-in-the-dark special effect
  • Seamless integration of AR-enabled storytelling
  • Consistent quality across multiple SKUs and international markets
  • A design bold enough to surprise even returning collectors

This wasn’t just a label—it needed to be a multi-sensory experience that stood out globally.

The Collaboration

19 Crimes partnered with All4Labels UK to bring this vision to life. With advanced print capabilities and deep technical expertise, the All4Labels Leeds team worked closely alongside 19 Crimes’ creative department and Universal Products & Experiences.

Together, the teams:

  • Developed a precision-applied glow-in-the-dark finish
  • Ensured every character detail—from Frankenstein’s bolts to The Bride’s hair streak—remained sharp under all lighting conditions
  • Integrated an AR experience activated directly from the label
  • Coordinated production to achieve consistent execution across global markets

It was a true co-creation process—uniting film, art, technology, and print.

The Outcome

The 2025 Halloween release became a global sensation, with bottles hitting shelves from London and Los Angeles to Sydney and Stockholm.

The results included:

  • A standout collectible item driving buzz and social engagement
  • Immersive AR moments that transformed packaging into entertainment
  • A disruptive on-shelf presence that elevated brand storytelling
  • Continued growth in fan anticipation and demand year-on-year

The campaign didn’t just sell bottles—it redefined consumer expectations of wine packaging.
