Spanning 56 productive facilities worldwide, All4Labels effectively caters to both local and global brand owners, providing flexible, fast, and innovative packaging applications. The Digital Labels and Packaging Awards has been assigned to the All4Labels Uk site based in Leeds for finest embellishments and smart combination of different printing techniques.

As a pioneer of hybrid printing technology, we are honoured to receive this prestigious award in the ‘Excellence with hybrid printing’ category,” says Adrian Brown, Director at All4Labels UK Leeds. ”We work everyday side by side with our suppliers and customers in order to optimize our production and develop tailor-made solutions that meet market expectations in terms of high quality, fast time-to-market and sustainability”.

The Digital Labels and Packaging Awards were introduced in 2022 to celebrate excellence in digital packaging and label print. One of 16 awards honouring printers and converters involved in the digital print for packaging supply chain, the ‘Excellence with Hybrid Printing’ category recognises labels printed using a combination of two or more complementary processes, such as digital and flexo printing technology.

The winning Cono Sur Bicicleta Sauvignon Blanc Blush wine label was printed using Hybrid digital and flexo technology, produced on a Domino N610i Integration Module as part of an ABG Digicon 3 hybrid printing line. The label was enhanced with the addition of hot foil, embossing, and spot screen varnish to create a luxury look and feel.

Brown adds: “By utilising embellishments on press, we can create premium, award-winning labels that grab the attention of consumers in markets such as Luxury Wines & Spirits and Personal Care & Beauty. Moreover, combining different printing technologies allow us to create a perfect and seamless combination and to print highly complex labels with short runs, QR codes, serialized numbers, different effects including holograms and to be able to perform the entire product in one pass only.”

The judges of the event noted: “We appreciated the technical application of subtle smooth gradations with technical applications, cleverly adapted to create a distressed effect with excellent registration between print and embellishments.”
