All4Labels and University of Turin collaborate on scientific challenges in new sustainable products

In pursuit of its commitment to developing product innovations that can actively drive sustainability forward, All4Labels has joined forces through a collaborative project to be realized   with Professor Vittorio Pace’s group based at the University of Turin to conduct research into some of the key scientific challenges involved. We have become part of the university’s Butterfly Ecosystem – working with the technological and research area inside the Campus designed to host companies and research centeres. It means access to joint laboratories, pilot plants, and university research equipment and innovation services.

This collaboration will develop and market new sustainable solutions able to make a strong and sustainable socio-environmental impact.  In particular, the following areas of focus will help to further boost the sustainability of All4Labels products:

  • Innovative and recyclable materials and adhesives for pressure-sensitive labels
  • Advanced de-siliconization processes for release liners
  • Future smart and interactive packaging solutions which enable waste and CO2 reductions through complete value chain
